New York Fashion Week RTW SS14- BCBG MAX AZRIA

6.9.13

For this season at BCBG MAX AZRIA, it was all about flower patterns transparent fabrics and elements of lush fabrics. Here are some of my favorites from the collection.

Sharp but fun, with these too styles, it can never get any better! First one on the left shows more of ac floral pattern which happens to be on the trousers added with a bit of transparent silk fabric to give it more of an edge. The black jackets shows more of a collar detail which makes the jacket more mysterious but kinda subtle and feminine in a way. The second one on the left is a dress which has more of a silhouette type of shape which brings out a little bit of the body but its also quite baggy which makes it more masculine at the same time. That's creative! At the bottom you can see there is also a floral design added along with the fine see-through silk.

With these two, plain buts sharp was the word, on the right the tousled details on the crop top makes the dress more interested and not if too plain. As on the left there are some tousled areas too with make interesting as well. Strangely I find that these two are also have quite a masculinity, as with the trousers on the left  and the more light indigo top on the right. The colour palette this season is more subtle and plain which in way makes it more interesting funny enough.

Evening gowns, are my favourite when it comes to any collection, you never know what the designers gonna come up with! As for the gowns I picked them as one of my favourites from this collection. First one on the left is obviously my favourite because of the shiny desplay of some applique and the tousled see though fabric. The shiny applique on this fabric adds a bit more spice to this dress. As for the one on the right, simple but empowering for anyone to wear this dress on the red carpet. See through fabrics used again on the shoulder detail, it seems that transparent is a signature for this collection . Love both these dress and they are both red carpet worthy.
