London Fashion Week 2012: Zoe Jordon SS13

15.9.12

Personally this is one of my favorite collections from London Fashion Week so far because it delivers colour and not anything dull and also a bit of an sporty element to as well as the tomboy as some said.
From stripes to mattalic, Zoe Jordon delivers yet another great collection.
One of my favorites in particular this season was the stripy blazer and trousers which looked to me as it was carefully tailored.

Speaking of sportiness Zoe Jordon said that she was inspired by a redefined sportiness and tomboy elegance  and has also been said to get inspiration in from Africa too. And i certainly looks like it as some of the pieces in the collection looks like they were African inspired.

She said: "I had been traveling to Africa and that's how it started. It was an eclectic mix, starting with fabric and print combinations," explained Jordan backstage after the show. She then introduced that into easy separates - her signature - such as crop tops and breezy harem pants, super cool bombers in pink or silver, metallic turquoise minis and over-sized jackets.
"It was more upbeat than we usually see, sometimes she plays it safe but it was a lot more youthful, free-spirited, modern and fresh," said Vogue's Sarah Harris after the show - citing a dinky tweed tunic to be the epitome of this.
Sporting tousled wet hair and black caps, these girls looked relaxed and cool  and it was even a celeb frenzy spotting  Poppy Delevingne, Jameela Jami and Kelly Brook at the FROW!
